Just west of home base. New masonry, repairs, and outdoor living for Hendricks County homes, laid by the owner himself.
Brownsburg sits just west of our Whitestown home base, which puts it well within the ground we cover every week.
Brownsburg is one of our closest neighbors. From our home base in Whitestown it's a short drive west, and that keeps Brownsburg squarely in the territory Lone Wolf Masonry serves. The town has a mix that suits us: established neighborhoods where homes are reaching the age when masonry needs attention, and newer streets and additions where brick, stone, and outdoor spaces are still going in. We work both, indoors and out, residential and commercial.
A good share of the Brownsburg work is repair and restoration. Brick that has been standing for a couple of decades eventually shows open mortar joints, a spalling brick or two, or a chimney crown that has started to crack. Left alone, small problems become big ones: a few cracked joints today is a repair, but ignored for five winters it becomes a rebuild. We'd rather fix it while it's small. Matching is where a real mason earns his keep, so a repair or addition blends into the existing brick instead of announcing itself.
The other side of Brownsburg is new work. Facades, columns, steps, and mailboxes on newer homes, plus patios, walkways, firepits, and privacy or retaining walls out back. Whatever the job, owner Tim Phipps is a third-generation master mason who lays it himself with no subcontractors. And because Indiana's freeze-thaw winters are hard on any joint that traps water, we build and repoint to shed it, so the masonry stays sound. Lone Wolf Masonry is fully insured and every estimate is free.
One thing we hear from Brownsburg homeowners is relief at getting a straight read on the work. Not every crack means a rebuild, and not every rebuild can be avoided by patching. Crumbling mortar joints, a few flaking bricks, or a leaning chimney crown can often be repaired or rebuilt from a certain course up, while masonry that has actually shifted or separated usually needs more. Rather than talk you into the bigger number, Tim will look at the real conditions and tell you which one your project honestly needs. That kind of plain answer, backed by twenty years of hand-work, is why so much of our Brownsburg business arrives through neighbors passing our name along.
"I am so happy with the work done by Lone Wolf Masonry on my chimney. Tim got the work done on time and on budget. He gave us a free quote and did the work himself. I highly recommend Lone Wolf Masonry."
